Outdoors at Veranda

Veranda is excited to offer a new, multi-level outdoor dining experience for guests this summer.

The Lower Terrace serves as an outdoor extension of Veranda’s main dining room (directly bookable on Resy) for guests to enjoy brunch and dinner surrounded by lush greenery and KAWS’ iconic “Good Intentions” sculpture. 

The Back Bar at Veranda now opens at 2pm every Thursday through Sunday and for 2-6pm for happy hour, providing a verdant, fully outdoor oasis for drinks and snacks at the corner of Soho and Tribeca. Light bites such as piri piri chicken brochettes, flatbread, charcuterie and croquetas prepared by chef and partner George Mendes can be paired with cocktails like charred shishito margaritas and Manhattan mules from JIMMY mixologist Johnny Swet, while happy hour offers specially priced snacks, buckets of canned cocktails, ginger mules and carafes of frosé. Tucked behind Veranda’s main dining room, the Back Bar is accessible via the restaurant’s main entrance and through a dedicated door around the corner on Sixth Avenue. Guests are welcome to make their way to the Upper Terraces, which overlook the bustling corners of SoHo and TriBeCa and feature a verdant swing, grass, benches and a backgammon table.
